Izzy Wellman (she/her) is the FolkMedia Consulting Manager and Social Media Strategist for Jewfolk, Inc. She was born and raised in New Jersey, where she was involved in the Jewish community through her local temple, NFTY region, and Hillel. She relocated to the Twin Cities in June of 2020 after graduating from Rowan University to pursue a career in social media management. Since the beginning of her time with Jewfolk Inc. in late February 2021, she has aided in the expansion of FolkMedia Consulting; presented as an expert at the 2023 Jewish Digital Summit, 2023 High Holiday Boot Camp, and 2024 Jewish Digital Summit held by 70 Faces Media; and participated in JFNA's Jewish Changemakers Fellowship. Outside of work, she can be found doing “something creative”, taking a nap, or arguing about whether or not Central Jersey exists.
Emma Pelc (she/her) is the Social Media Marketing Strategist of Jewfolk, Inc. Minnesota born and bred, Emma is the product of a NFTY marriage. She was involved with her local temple youth group and NFTY's Northern region. After graduating from the University of Minnesota in 2021, Emma is looking forward to helping the local Jewish community while having an opportunity to be creative. When she is not working, you can find her obsessing over movies, spending far too much time looking at internet memes, and eating an embarrassing amount of ice cream. She is the proud mother of two pet rats.
Libby Goldstein Parker (she/her) is the Executive Director of Jewfolk, Inc. Libby grew up in warmer climes (think southern California and Las Vegas) but has made Minneapolis her home since 2007 where she happily takes full advantage of the fantastic schools, the quality of life and, of course, the weather. With three kids, there isn’t much free time, but Libby’s husband keeps insisting they are going to get out into nature and be very active. Libby comes from a career in non-profit, foundation, and Jewish communal work and could not be more excited to meet you at a local community event, get a coffee with you, or hear from you via email (listed below).
Jewfolk, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our mission: connect, engage, inform, and inspire Jews in local communities using three methods:
We work towards this vision by connecting Jews to the community, the community to Jews, and Jews to Jews.
We believe in the power of connection to create and sustain welcoming, thriving, vibrant, engaged, Jewish communities.
Lonny Goldsmith (he/him) is the Editor of TC Jewfolk and Director of Communications for Jewfolk, Inc. He likes to write, cook, and watch sports (sometimes in that order). He can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Galit Breen (she/her) is the Operations and Development Manager for Jewfolk, Inc. Galit’s claim to fame is that she is the original Minnesota Mammaleh, having been a regular contributor and writer for TC Jewfolk when it was first launched over a dozen years ago. In the intervening years, Galit has been staying busy raising her 3 children with her husband and co-producing and co-directing Listen to Your Mother Twin Cities. Reach Galit at email@example.com.
Genevieve Parker (she/they) is the Community Engagement Manager for Jewfolk, Inc. She is a recent transplant to the Twin Cities and comes to us with a background in nonprofit program and development management. Genevieve’s spare time is spent cooking delicious meals, taking short bike rides, reading three library books at a time, and appeasing her dog, George, with daily walks and games of tug. Please be in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org!
Lev Gringauz (he/him) is the Associate Editor for Jewfolk, Inc. He was born and raised in Plymouth, Minnesota, and recently graduated from the University of Minnesota after several years of traveling. Lev has been an award-winning contributing writer and podcaster for TC Jewfolk for several years, alongside freelancing for other Jewish publications, and is excited to bring his Russian-speaking quirks to the Jewfolk team. Guilty pleasures include lots of anime, romcoms, playing guitar, and attempting to cook. You can reach him at email@example.com.
Sam Fisher (he/him) is the Cincy Jewfolk Editor and Engagement Associate. Sam grew up in Cincinnati and, after a few years in Los Angeles including a few with Moishe House, Sam joined the Jewfolk staff in April 2023 to be face of Cincy Jewfolk locally.
